D. W. VAN BERGH, dentist; was born in New York City in 1848. When about 5 
years old, his parents removed to Rochester, N. Y., where they still reside. 
He commenced the study of dentistry with Dr. A. C. Wanzer, of Rochester, and 
was with him one year; came to Wisconsin in 1863, and settled in Madison, 
where he completed his studies and practiced till the spring of 1869, since 
which time he has been practicing in La Crosse - office on Main street, 
between Fourth and Fifth.
