She was married in 1873 at Letzin, Germany to Louis Albrecht and came to this country in 1886. To this union were born five children, three of whom, Bertha, Herman and Mina died when children, two daughters, Mrs. Louis Otto of this city and Mrs. C. J. Vance of Barnard, Mo., surviving. Mrs. Albrecht died at her home in this city on Oct. 17th, death being directly due to heart failure. She was taken sick with dropsy last spring and had not been very well since then. Besides the husband and two daughters who survive there are nine grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Struck and two brothers, Helmuth and Fritz Buhring. Deceased was a member of the German Lutheran church in this city, was a most dutiful wife and loving mother. The funeral was held on Friday, Oct. 20th, at 3:00 p.m. from the German Lutheran church in this city, Rev. Bergholz officiating and undertaker A. E. Smith in charge. Interment was made in the Onalaska cemetery. The pallbearers were Wm. Gilster, August and Herman Pralle, Louis Krenz, Fred Holthaus and Fred Miller. The Record joins with the family's many friends in extending sympathy to them in this bereavement.
