James Clark, janitor at the Sixth ward school, committed suicide at midnight last night. He climbed up in the belfry of the schoohouse, fastened the bellrope around his neck and then swung off. The bell rang twice, tolling his own death knell. Clark was a man of 55 years and leaves a family. He was a resident of this place some time.
