Otto, of Barron, formerly of Onalaska, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 21 in Olympia, Washington. Mr. Otto was born in Onalaska on May 28, 1896 and has lived in Barron for the past eight years. Survivors are his wife; one son, Norman of Barron; three daughters; Mrs. Sidney (Carolyn) Johnson of Barron; Mrs. Harold (Iris) Nelson and Mrs. James (Joanne) Buelow of Appleton; two grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Frank Podell, Rice Lake; Mrs. Emil Christopherson; Mrs. J. C. Huecker; Mrs. Earl Johnson; and Miss Elsye Otto of Onalaska and two brothers, William and Ernest Otto of Onalaska. Funeral services were held from the Rausche funeral chapel in Barron with the Rev. Lloyde S. Lambert officiating. Burial was in Wayside cemetery, Barron. Attending the funeral from this city on Thursday, September 28, were Mr. and Mrs. William Otto, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Christopherson, Mr. and Mrs. J C Huecker, Mr. and Mrs. Earl P. Johnson; Miss Elsye Otto, Ernest Otto, Mrs. Elsa Vance, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Harper and Paul Christopherson.
