Book Title: A History Of Blanchardsville, Gem Of The Pecatonica

Bakerville

     Baker's addition was incorporated into the Village of Blanchardville in
1963. The area is in the Township of Moscow, Iowa County. Prentiss M. Baker,
great-grandfather of the present Douglas and Dr. F. Wilson Baker, platted a
piece of his farmland and sold lots. Cows once roamed in a pasture that later
became the Dr. F. Wilson Baker property. Baker Street and Wilson Street have
family names.
