Hawley The many friends and classmates of Mr. Elbert E. Hawley will be shocked to hear of his sudden death, which occurred July 8 at Chicago. Nothing of the immediate cause of his death is known. His brother, Homer F. Hawley, was in this city transacting business on Tuesday when he was summoned to his home in Argyle. Later a dispatch was received saying that his brother had passed away. The deceased was a well known commission man who had many friends, and customers in this vicinity. He was possessed of rare gifts and a charming personality. He had risen rapidly and a successful career had been prophesied for him by those who knew him best. He leaves a wife, his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. A. G.
