Mrs. Joseph Bretl

Mrs. Joseph Bretl, 67, died at 1:00 a.m. this morning at her home, 140
South Dorr Street. The funeral services will be held Monday morning at
9:00 o’clock at St. John’s church, the Rev. Dean C. Saile will sing a requiem
mass, and interment will be in the mausoleum.

Theresa Feller Bretl was born March 27, 1863, in Manitowoc. She spent part
of her childhood there, and later moved to Algoma. She was married May
29, 1892 to Joseph Bretl. The family moved to Antigo about thirty-nine
years ago, where they have lived ever since. This union was blessed with
eight children — five sons and three daughters: Mrs. John Mettler, Mrs.
Ed Boldt, and Mrs. J.W. Flanagan, all of Antigo; and George L. Bretl, Martin
Bretl, Clarence Bretl, Ray M. Bretl, and Norman J. Bretl, also of Antigo.

The deceased is also survived by three brothers and one sister, namely:
Fred Feller, Antigo, John Feller, Maplewood, Wis., Wenzel Feller, and Mrs.
Matt Feller of Antigo.
