OBITUARY

NEILS MIKKELSON

	Neils Mikkelson, aged 93 years old, a resident of the village of 
Polar, died at 3:40 o'clock on the morning of May 26.
	The deceased was born January 6, 1840, in Denmark.  He was married 
to Christina Theisen on January 19, 1864.  Fourteen children were born 
to this union, nine of whom are living.  They are:  Nick, Baker, 
Montana; Maurice, Polar; Charles, Antigo, Route 1; Mike, Rhinelander; 
Lottie (Mrs. Charles Walker), Choate; Myrtle (Mrs. August Holtz), 
Antigo; Robert, Antigo; Ray, Polar; Garnetta (Mrs. Joseph Benovich), 
Antigo.  Forty-seven grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren 
also survive.

	Funeral services are to be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock 
at the home at Polar.  Interment will be at Polar.
