The body of Leonard Patnode, Sr. arrived here from Eau Claire on Monday and was interred in the Catholic cemetery in the town of Waterville that day. Deceased was a native of the province of Quebec and was one of the early residents of Waterville, moving there from Vermont in 1863. He was married in the state of New York in October 1851 and leaves a widow at Elton, Wisconsin, where for the past year he had lived with one of his sons. Mr. Patnode was seventy-five years of age and leaves twelve children; seven sons, Joseph, Geo., Eli, and Lew of Waterville, Alex, Leonard Jr. and Frank of Elton, Wis., and five daughters, Mrs. Julia Bashaw, Mrs. Olive Dupre of Waterville, Mrs. Nora Nelson of Spring Valley, Mrs. Della Mattson of Elton, Wis., and Mrs. Maggie Andrews of this city.
