Obituary Charles Pohlman Charles Pohlman, aged 69 years, passed away at 8:30 o'clock this morning at the home of his son, Henry, 400 Hudson street, after having been ill for some time. The deceased is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. Harry Carpenter, Sheboygan; Henry Pohlman, Antigo, and Lucille Pohlman, Evanston, Ill. Obituary Charles Pohlman Charles Pohlman, 69, who passed away Saturday morning at the home of his son, Henry, 400 Hudson street, after a lengthy illness, was born August 20, 1865, at Campbellsport, Wis., the son of Henry and Mary (Klocky) Pohlman. He was married at Campbellsport to Sarah Haessly on May 16, 1888, and came to Antigo in 1886 [sic] from Campbellsport. For some time he was foreman in the yard for the Weed mill. He was in charge of the Antigo branch of the Pabst Brewing company from 1916 until 1920, and afterward was scaler and grader for the C. W. Fish Lumber company at Hiles and at Antigo. The deceased is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. W. A. McDonald, Pekin, Ill.; Mrs. Harry Carpenter, Sheboygan; Henry Pohlman, Antigo; and Lucille Pohlman, Evanston, Ill. One daughter, Mrs. Henry Plautz, died twelve years ago. The following brothers and sisters also survive, together with eighteen grandchildren: Fred Pohlman, Fond du Lac; Mrs. Emma Martin, Campbellsport; and Mrs. William Hengartener, Mound, Minn. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning, April 17, at 9 o'clock at St. John's Catholic church. ------------------------------------------- Transcribed from "The Antigo Daily Journal" Antigo, Langlade County, WI. Charles Pohlman Funeral services for Charles Pohlman, who died Saturday morning following a lengthy illness, were held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning at St. John's Catholic church. Rt. Rev. Msgr. C. Saile celebrated the requiem high mass. Pallbearers were: Joseph Friedl, Joseph Bretl, Joseph Wojtasiak, Ira Hull, John Callahan, and Matt Feller. Those from out-of-town who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Harry Carpenter and son, Sheboygan; Mr. and Mrs. W. A. McDonald, Pekin, Ill; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pohlman and Charles Haessley, Fond du Lac; Mrs. Walter Glass and son, Ervin Rusch, and Fred Rusch, Campbellsport, Wis.; Mrs. Will Haessley and Mrs. Peter La Vabver, Milwaukee; and Lottie Best, Glidden.
