Dorothea Haefke Lindemann: Born 03 September 1828in Wilhelmshof, Prestin, 
Mecklenburg, Germany, Daughter of Heinrich & Caroline Meyer Haefke. Died 232 
August 1905 in Liberty, Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Immigrated probably May 1853 
from Mecklenburg. Married 14 September 1854 Claus Lindemann in Manitowoc. 
Children: Carl (Emelie) Lindemann, August Lindemann, Louisa (Johann) Wahlers, 
& Martha (Ernst) Pleuss. Reverse inscription of tombstone, in 
German: "Christus ist mein Leben. Sterben mein Gewinn." (Christ is my life, 
death my gain.)
