Carl Lindmann: Born 27 April 1856 in Liberty, Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Died 02 
September 1913 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, of appendicitis. Son of Claus & 
Dorothea Haefke Lindemann. Brother of August Lindemann, Louisa (Johann) 
Wahlers, & Martha (Ernst) Pleuss. Married 10 May 1878 in Manitowoc to -
Emelie Wienke Lindemann: Born 16 February 1854, probably in Regenwalde or 
Naugard, Pommern, Germany. Died 09 January 1935 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. 
Daughter of Ferdinand & Wilhelmina (Minna) Porath Wienke.
Children: Maria Free, Alvina Nagel, Anna Schrank, Martha Schrank, Carl 
Lindemann, Emil Lindemann, Herman Lindemann, Hertha Glisch, & Paulina Leider.
