The contestants will be selling $2 admission buttons for the Jaycees' annual Fourth of July Celebration at Wausau's Marathon Park. This year's entertainment will feature a demolition derby, monster struck show and motorcycle races. There also will be music by the Surf Boys, Class of '62 and Rare Earth. This year's Firecracker Princess contestants are Heather Popelka, 15, daughter of Bob and Sarah Popelka, 1422 Pearson St., Wausau; JoAnn Strei, 17, daughter of Gerald and Mary Strei, 2126 Sherman St., Wausau; Tonya Gauger, 15, daughter of Alfred and Sharon Holbrook, 1420 Lake St., Wausau; Ami Mais, daughter of Patricia Mais, 4311 Schofield Ave., Schofield, and Gary Mais, 519 Park Ave., Brokaw; Melissa Alsteen, 15, daughter of Rose and Mike Brubaker, 1036 Knauf, Rothschild; Tracy Bunsa, 15, daughter of Laura Bunsa, 1307 Third St., Wausau; Bobbie Seliger, 15, daughter of Robert and Audrey Seliger, 1206 E. Seventh St., Heather JoAnn Merrill; and Tammy Burris, 17, daughter of Ray and Carol Burris, 2341 Popelka Strei Fawn Road, Mosinee.
