GAFFNEY DIES SUDDENLY Resided in County Her Entire Life Mrs. Mary Gaffney, 64, of 1356 Armstrong street, a resident of Marinette county for her entire life, died suddenly Monday afternoon at 4:15 at Marinette General Hospital. The deceased was born in Beaver January 16, 1860 (sic) . Her husband, Nick, died in 1939.( Year should read 1880) Survivors are two sons and three daughters. They are Private First Class. Nick Gaffney of the Army, who arrived home Monday evening from Fort Sheridan, Staff Sergant. Lawerance, who is now in England, Mrs. Joseph Gucwa and Mrs. Vernon Johnson of this city and Miss Marian at home. Also surviving are four brothers, Frank, Phillip and Theodore Murphy of Olympia, Wash., and James E. Murphy of this city; two sisters , Mrs. Bruce Roach of Oregon, Mrs. Nell Moll of Olympia, Wash and three grandchildren. The remains are at the McLain funeral home and will be taken to the home of Mrs. Joseph Gucwa, 1555 Oakes street, Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning at 8:30 at the home and at 9 o'clock at St. Anthony's church. Burial will be in Forest Home cemetery. The rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 8;15 at the Gucwa home. Sept. 20th '44 MRS. MARY GAFFNEY Mrs. Mary Gaffney, who died suddenly at Marinette General hospital Monday, will be buried Thursday morning. Services will be held at 8:30 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Gucwa, 1555 Oakes street, where the remains are lying in state, and at 9 o' clock at St. Anthony's church. Burial will be in Forest Home cemetery. The rosary will be recited this evening at 8:15. Sept. 21st '44 MRS. MARY GAFFNEY Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Gaffney, who died Monday, were held this morning at 8:30 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Gucwa, 1555 Oakes street and at 9 o' clock at St. Anthony's church. The Rev. Julius Schaefer of Jorden seminary intoned the mass. Pallbearers were Albert Heil, Raymond Behnke, Charels Engler, James Perdzock, George Smith and Ernest Lauzon. Interment was in Forest Home cemetery. From away were Private First Class. Nicholas Gaffney of Fort Sheridan. Ill., Mrs. Al Merritt of Chicago and Mrs. M. Maloney of pound.
