Montello Express, Mar. 31, 1911
Theodore Brustman, 74 years of age, died at his home in Mecan Sunday morning 
after an illness of but a few days. He was a man well known in Montello having 
lived south of town for a number of years. The funeral was held from the 
little Mecan church and the remains were interred in the village cemetery. 
Rev. Schroeder of Germania conducted the services.
