After a lingering illness a stroke of apoplexy ended her life at midnight March 20. She was born February 13, 1867 in Lewiston, Minn. She was united in marriage to Mr. Julius Dee in 1885. Besides her husband she is survived by the following seven children: John of Buffalo, NY; Addie of Waupun Wis.; Anna of North Fond du Lac Wis.; George of Harrisville, Wis.; Arthur and Alfred at the home farm, and Edna at home. She was a faithful member of the St. John's Lutheran church of Harrisville and a willing worker in the Ladies' Aid. The funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock and 2:30 at the church, Rev. R. Eitts, officiating. The services were largely attended and the floral offerings were beautiful. The pallbearers were intimate friends: Albert Frank, Gust Lange, Leapolt Thalacker, Gust Wahl, Albert Klimke, and Theodore Schanberg. Relatives from afar were John Dee of Buffalo, NY, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Terhorst and children of Waupun, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dietrich and daughter of North Fond du Lac, Mrs. Frank Ronan of Fairbolt[sic] Minn., Mrs. Frank Kirsling [Kirschling?] of Stevens Point, Charley Dee of Camp Douglas, Mr. Charley Nehring of Milwaukee, Mr and Mrs Wm. Dee of Dakota, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Reetz of Neshkoro.
