DONOHER. She had been ailing about three weeks, but it was not thought there was any danger...but about 12 o'clock Monday evening was taken worse and died in a few hours. Mrs. DONOHER was born in Kildare County, Ireland, March 1817, and came with her mother, brothers and sister to America in 1828, and settled in Boston, where she married Peter DONOHER in 1845. They came to Wisconsin in 1851 and settled on the farm where she died. Death having deprived her of her husband in 1868, she was left as the only guide for their fmaily of seven children, and their welfare was always her chief interest. Of the seven children--Mrs. John and Mrs. James McKANNA, of Montello; Frank of Butte City, Montana; James, Kate, Annie and Agnes, who live at their home in Douglas--all were present at the funeral except Frank. Though they have all grown to manhood and womanhood, they will greatly miss their mother...(text cut off on copy from microfilm)
