Foley was born about 60 years ago in Massachusetts and died at his home in the town of Douglas on Easter Sunday, April 4, 1915 of inflamatory rheumatism which went to his heart. He had not been very well for several years past but his case was not considered that serious until the Thursday before he died when he was taken worse and medical skill was of no avail. His friends and neighbors were shocked to learn of his death. Jim was well liked wherever he was known. He has held office several times in our town. He was married to Sarah Coleman about 30 years ago. He leaves to mourn his loss three children, John, Fanny and Joe and his sister Annie, who has lived with him since the death of his wife.
