Frazier was born in Morristown, St. Lawrence County, New York, April 27, 1835. He moved to Wisconsin with his parents in 1853. He enlisted for service in the Civil War Sept. 18, 1864 and was discharged June 6, 1865. Mr. Frazier was a resident of Oxford until 1910 when he moved to Hinsdale, Montana, where he resided on a farm until his death Sept. 11, 1913. Death was due to ptomaine poisoning caused from eating canned salmon. He was ill only a short time. He leaves to mourn their loss a wife and four sons, Grant and Walter of Hinsdale, Merton of Oxford and V. O. Frazier of Minneapolis, Minn., three daughters, Mrs. F. H. Hopwood, Hinsdale Montana, Mrs. J. J. Wright, Darlington Wisconsin, and Mrs. Ada Carpenter of Minneapolis, three sisters and three brothers of whom a brother and a sister, Mrs. Wm. J. Ogle and L. Frazier reside in Oxford. Mr. Frazier had many friends in this section who sympathize deeply with the relatives.
