SPENCER Mr. Job C. SPENCER passed away to a better life Thursday evening. Deceased had resided in Montello but a few months, and for most of that time had been confined to his home by that dread disease, consumption, which caused his death, so that our people had little opportunity to form is acquaintance; but what they did learn of him was to his credit. He leaves a wife and son, with other relatives, to mourn his loss. Mr. SPENCER was born in Lewis county, New York, on the 1st day of April, 1840. He came to Wisconsin 27 years ago, and moved to Montello on the 8th day of June last. Present at his bedside in his last moments were a brother and sister, Mr. Ash SPENCER of this village and Mrs. JEFFREYS of Marquette. The remains will be taken to Kingston for interment; the funeral services to be held at 2 o'clock today, Saturday.
