Deceased was born in the town of Springville, Adams County, Wisconsin, in March, 1852. He has been in poor health since last November. Mr. Thorne was united in marriage to Miss Florence Harvey of Chicago on June 26, 1906. He left his home in Chicago March 30 to spend a couple of months with his brothers, George and Ben in Springville. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Robinson at the White Creek church and he was laid to rest in the White Creek cemetery. He was a kind and loving husband and father and leaves to mourn his loss a wife and little son Harvey, three brothers, Nathan of Iowa, and George and Ben of East Springville, also several nieces and nephews.
