J. E. Boomershine Answers Final Call Word was received by Rev. D. F. Boomershine of Maquoketa that his brother, Rev. J. E. Boomershine of Greenville, Ohio, had passed away at a Milwaukee hospital at 5 o’clock Sunday evening. Rev. J. E. Boomershine went to the hospital only a short time ago and was seemingly slightly improved when Rev. D. F. Boomershine returned home Saturday. The end came suddenly. The deceased was the pastor of the Reformed Church at Zwingle at one time for three years, and in 1917, when Rev. and Mrs. D. F. Boomershine were in Florida, he filled the pulpit in Maquoketa during their absence. He leaves a wife and one little son, six years old. Rev. D. F. Boomershine departed Monday afternoon for Milwaukee to accompany the remains back to the old home of Tiffin, Ohio, for burial.
