Evelyn Rediske, age 74, formerly of Plymouth, passed away at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility Sunday afternoon, Dec. 13 where she had been a patient the past nine months. The former Evelyn DeVoy was born on June 30, 1913 at Glenbeulah, a daughter of Christopher and Genevieve Miller DeVoy. She attended Glenbeulah schools. On Oct 12 1932 she was married to Ernest Rediske. The couple lived in Plymouth since their marriage. Her husband preceded her in death Aug 3, 1983. She is a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. Mrs. Rediske of South Milwaukee, Raymond Rediske, of Plymouth, and Grant Rediske of Plymouth; two daughters, Mrs. Eileen Athey of Scottsdale Ariz., and Mrs. Jerald (Renetta) MacKenzie, of Oshkosh; 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and two brothers, Raymond and Vernon DeVoy of Milwaukee and one sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Zickefoose of Springfield, Mo. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Wittkopp Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. Thomas Burton, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in the name of Mrs. Rediske for the St. John Lutheran Church.
