JANTE SERVICES MONDAY

Funeral services for George P. Jante, an employee of the Jos. Schlitz
Brewing Co. for 65 years will be Monday.  He died Thursday of
Congestive heart failure at Columbia Hospital.  Jante, 87 retired Jan 1.
He was manager of real estate for the firm and at the time managed the
Majestic Building, then owned by Schlitz.  Jante was born in Milwaukee
and educated in the Milwaukee Public Schools.  He went to work for 
Schlitz after high school and was in the real estate division until his
Retirement.  Jante lived at 3012 N. Downer Ave.
