He died peacefully at home. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin June 19, 1936. Jay was enlisted in the Marine Corps at the age of 16 and was later honorably discharged. He returned to Wisconsin and worked in the trucking and automotive industry. He later lived in north Texas for 16 years and then relocated in Cedar City in 1995. Jay is survived by his loving wife, Marie Mischo, sons Mike, Pat, Tim, Brian, and Jay Jr. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, two brothers and a sister. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 pm, October 24, 2007 at Southern Utah Mortuary, 190 N 300 W, and Thursday, October 25, 2007 from 12 to 1 pm followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm.
