JEFF COUILLARD DIES IN WEST Jeff Couilldard an old resident of Oconto county who went West seven years ago died Sept. 17, at his home at Duvall, Wash. Deceased is survived by his four brothers. T.A. Couillard, Oconto; Samuel, Couillardville; Jerome, Milwaukee, and Charles, Sagola, Michigan, and three sisters, Mrs A.M. LaCourt, Sagola; Mrs. Mary McKennon, Oconomowoc and Mrs. John O. Williams, Everett, Washington. The following account of his death is taken from the Duvall Citizen. WE regret to announce the death of Jeff Couillard, which occurred on Thursday afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. J.O. Williams, 3202 maple, Everett. The funeral will take place at Everett Sunday. Jeff has been in Duvall four years and was one of the earliest residents in the town. He served as city marshal one year, and when times became quiet and the marshal's office was done away with, he began clearing off his land. Jeff, who was in his 53rd year, was liked and respected by everyone. the funeral will be conducted by the local lodge of Oddfellows of which he was recently made a member.
