Ajeska, 84, of 315 N. Stevens St., a Rhinelander resident for 55 years, died at 10:55 p.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Hospital after an extended illness. Born Nov. 20, 1875, in Portage county, Mr. Ajeska moved here from Stevens Point. He was an employee of the Rhinelander Paper Co. for 30 years. Surviving are his wife, Helen; two sons, Arthur of Rhinelander and Chester of San Leandro, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Herman (Gertrude) Weber, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Wilfred (Bernice) Robarge, Rhinelander; a brother, Frank, Rhinelander; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Willick, Iron Mountain, Mich.; Mrs. William Neufeldt, Mrs. Patrick Foley and Mrs. Dora Switall, all of Chicago, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with interment in the parish cemetery. The body will lie in state in the Hildebrand Funeral Home after 3 p.m. today. The Rosary will be said at 8 o'clock tonight. Mr. Ajeska was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph's and the Modern Woodmen of America.
