Obituary of Edmund ROBARE, Rhinelander, Oneida Co., WI Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives September 29, 2003 by Kent Robarge January 10, 1956 Rhinelander Daily News Edmund Robare, Resident Here 30 Years, Dies Edmund Robare, 410 Lincoln St., a resident of Rhinelander for the past 30 years, died at 10:50 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Hospital following an illness of two weeks. He was 52 years of age. Born in Manistique, Mich., Feb. 27, 1903, Mr. Robare later settled in Wausau. He was married in that city on Aug. 22, 1925. The Robares settled in Rhinelander the following year. Mr. Robare began employment for the Rhinelander Paper Co. on June 8, 1926, in the calender department. At the time of his death he worked as a calender roll lathe operator. He was a member of the Rhinelander chapter of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Surviving are his wife, Louise, one brother and two sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hildebrand Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ward J. Fellows officiating. The body will be in state at the funeral home from 3 p.m. today until time of services. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
