Obituary of ROBARGE, Wilfred, Rhinelander, Oneida Co., WI Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives September 29, 2003 by Kent Robarge Date of Death: May 2, 1988 (Oneida County, WI Register of Deeds Death Cert., Vol. 9, pg 385), (Social Security Death Index) Wilfred Robarge Wilfred "Alex" Robarge, 73, of 139 Woodland Heights Manor, died Monday at Saint Mary's Hospital. He was born April 18, 1915 in Tomahawk. Mr. Robarge served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was employed by the Rhinelander Paper Co. from Dec 29, 1941 until his retirement on July 31, 1977. He and his wife, the former Dorothy Krause, were married April 22, 1980 in Port Charlotte, Fla. He is survived by his wife; two brothers, Donal of Bellevue, Nebraska, and Kenneth of Prior Lake, Minn.; three stepchildren, Walter Meyer of Rhinelander, Mrs. Cliff (Donna) Kluber of Rapid City, S.D., and Mrs. Fred (Georgene) Laska of Plover; and several stepgrandchildren. Mr. Robarge was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernice, in 1978. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father James Jackson officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service at Hildebrand Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Garden in Port Charlotte, Fla.
