BIOGRAPHY:
JAMES DEVINE

Was born in 1833 and came to Outagamie county in 1861. He was married to Miss B. Manning in 1856. She was
born in 1833. their children are: Frances, born in 1857, died in 1858; John M., born in 1858; Katharine, born in 1863;
Margaret S., born in 1867. Residence on section 22, T. 21, R. 18, in Kaukauna. Mr. Devine was for eight years
Chairman of Kaukauna, Assessor one year and Supervisor for five years.
