O. Town. Miss Hart is teaching school at Ashland this year. Miss Pearl Thompson left Tuesday to return to her school work at Danville, Ill. Lafayette Thompson who is attending the high school at Shawano, spent a few days of this week with relatives here. Miss Jennie Williams spent Christmas with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Williams. Miss Jennie is employed at Green Bay. She returned to her work Monday. Mrs. Myron De Long of Appleton spent New Year at the home of Chas. De Long. Mrs. Durant, who is taking care of a sick lady at Waupaca was home over the holidays. Miss Ida Greinert went to Bear Creek Tuesday, called to act as trained nurse for a lady who has paralysis. Lester and Herman Immel of Fond du Lac are visiting at t e home of E. Greinert this week. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Shanibeau of Ogdensburg spent Christmas in the village with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Booth spent Christmas at Iola visiting their son C. L. Booth and family. Miss Margaret Singler was in Green Bay Friday. Leonard Kiefer of New London spent New Year at the home of R. C. Roloff. Mr. and Mrs. William Welch and son, Russel, of Oshkosh; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Miller and daughter, Margaret Ann, of Stoughton; Mr. and Mrs. Art Jones and babe, and Mrs. Fred Heinritz of Appleton spent New Year at the home of Mrs. Rose Steidl. A sleighload of about twenty-five people drove out to Edgar Peep's residence Tuesday tevening to celebrate Mrs. Peep's birthday anniversary. L. L. Pooler of Clintonville spent Christmas with home folks in the village. William F. McLaughlin and Miss Myrtle Paradise of the town of Bovina, were married at Appleton Tuesday. They will reside in the town of Bovina where Mr. McLaughlin is the proprietor of the new Riverside Cheese factory.
