OBITUARY: Appleton Post Crescent Sept 6, 1947

Alvin McMahan, 64 route 4, Appleton died 6:40 Friday evening after
a long illness. Born March 19, 1883 in Marshfield he had lived in Appleton
for the last 22 years and was employed at the Interlake mill. He was a
member of the Interlake Mill chapter of the Employes Mutual Benefit Association.
Survivors are one son, Myron J. McMahan, route 4 Appleton and a brother
Allie McMahan, route 4, Appleton. Funeral services Tuesday morning at the
Brettschneider Funeral Home with the Rev.
W. H. Gammein in charge.. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Friends
may call at the funeral home beginning Monday.
