Ida Marasch [Obituary from New London Press - Thurs, March 1, 1973]
Ida D. Marasch, St. Joseph's Residence, New London, age 86, passed away
on Monday, after a short illness. She was born June 23, l886, in Maple
Creek. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Irving Young, Appleton; one
son, Elmer, Odessa, Missouri; one brother, Henry Rohloff, New London; two
sisters, Mrs. Ella Knorr, Appleton, and Mrs. Minne Sanders, Metz: eight
grandchildren, and 10 great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held
Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Cline and Hanson Funeral Home, with the Rev.
F. W. Heidemann, pastor of Emanuel Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial
was in Floral Hill cemetery.
