The son of the late Martin and Henrietta (Coenen) Hendricks was born on September 18, 1911, in the Town of Rockland and was a lifelong area resident. Leo was a veteran, serving with the United States Army Infantry. He had done some farming and was a heavy equipment operator, working for O'Keefe Construction and later for Courtney & Plummer until his retirement on January 1, 1974. Leo also served on the Wrightstown Village Board for 12 years. Leo and the former Geraldine Price were married on March 9, 1943, in Vincennes, Indiana, and she preceded him in death on May 25, 1961. He married the former Clara Berken on April 18, 1979, in Wrightstown and she preceded him in death on March 8, 1989. Leo was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown and the Holy Name Society at the church. Leo is survived by his son, John (Mary) Hendricks, Wrightstown; a daughter, Sue Hendricks, Menominee, Michigan; two grandchildren, Mike and Chris (Todd) Schudy; two sisters, Nettie Aerts, Wrightstown; Agatha Roebke, Wrightstown; brother, Ed Hendricks, Kaukauna; sister-in-law, Eleanor Hendricks, Green Bay; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandchild, Pat Kohanski, and three brothers, Frank "Smokey," Joe and Bill; a sister, Marie Williquette. Hepler Brillion Age 82, a long-time resident of Brillion, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2000. She was born January 11, 1918, in Butler, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Hutchinson) Herold. On February 23, 1940, she married Donald R. Hepler in Butler, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Hepler was employed at the Brillion High School for many years. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Brillion. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Judy Swalby, Appleton; Patty Lambrecht and Ted Platz, Minnesota; a son and daughter-in-law: Donald L. and Susie Hepler, Ohio; six grandchildren, Cheryl (John) Novak, Doug and Craig Swalby, Traci Lambrecht, Donald and Kevin Hepler; a great-granddaughter, Andrea Novak; two sisters, Isabelle Knox and Ilene (Joe) Valensky; three brothers, Charles Herold, Leonard (Jean) Herold, Lee Herold, and many nieces and nephews. Abigail "Abbey" Taylor Janz Waupaca Age 6, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a courageous battle with cancer which ended Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at home with her family. Renn St. Paul Home, Kaukauna Age 89, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2000. She was born August 31, 1910 in Kaukauna, daughter of the late Peter and Emma (Green) Renn. Alma worked at Renn and Co. most of her life until its closing. Then she worked in the office of St. Paul Home until her retirement. After retiring she worked as a volunteer at St. Paul Home until she entered St. Paul Manor. She enjoyed bowling, knitting and cooking for others. Alma was the most giving and kind person anybody knew. Her cheerfulness and caring will be remembered and missed for years to come. Survivors include two sisters, Mary Bambery, Kaukauna; Jennie and Dale Hanson, Shelton, Washington; a brother, Edward and Genevieve Renn, Kaukauna. Alma is further survived by seven nieces and nephews, other relatives and special friends. Josephine was born in Kaukauna on October 4, 1918, daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Heindl) Verboomen. She married John Stienen on November 29, 1945, in Wrightstown; he survives. Josephine was an avid reader, enjoyed flower gardening, and was an outstanding seamstress. She was also a longtime and faithful member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimberly. Sidney St., Kimberly Age 69, lost her courageous two-year battle with cancer and passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2000, surrounded by her loving family at her home. She was born in Mierlo-Hout, Holland, on November 15, 1930, daughter of the late Jan and Lucia (Van Alem) Steenbekkers. On May 17, 1956, Tilly married Ans Van Lith in Aarle-Rixtel, Holland; he survives. She, Ans, and two daughters came to the United States in 1963. Tilly began work at St. Elizabeth Hospital as a housekeeper. In 1996, she retired, after being at the hospital for some 18 years. She enjoyed having company visit her home, spending time with her beloved family, and crocheting blankets for her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Ans J. Van Lith, Kimberly; three daughters, Lucia (Richard) Bevers, Kimberly; Adriana (David) Friebel, Kimberly; Petranella Van Lith, Kimberly; four grandchildren, Richard (Angela) Bevers, Eric Bevers, Jeffrey Friebel, and Kim Friebel; a great-grandson, Isaac Bevers who gave Oma inspiration the last year; two brothers, Mich (Hanneke) Steenbekkers, Darboy; Jan (Maria) Steenbekkers, Holland; three sisters, Annie Driessen, Holland; Ria (Rik) Hardiquest, Belgium; and Jo (Christ) Van Berloo, Holland; two brothers-in-law, Peter (Korrie) Van Lith, Combined Locks; Albert (Ann) Van Lith, Little Chute; two sisters-in-law, Nellie Vander Wielen, Little Chute; Bet (Giel) Van Alem, Kimberly.
