Ellis Age 52, formerly of Route 1, Hortonville (Stephensville), died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, in St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2000, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Marathon. Esther Ferg Victorville, California Formerly of Manawa. Age 99, died Sunday, March 12, 2000, at Apple Valley Care Center. She was born July 22, 1900, in the Town of Bear Creek, Waupaca County, daughter of the late Charley and Mollie (Miller) Rathke. She married Julius Ferg at Clintonville in 1919. He preceded her in death December 30, 1990. She had lived in Clintonville from 1914-1925, in Appleton from 1925-1930, and in Eau Claire from 1930 until returning to Manawa in 1984. The past seven years she had lived in California. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Manawa. She is survived by a daughter, LaVerna Ristow, Lucerne, California; five grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; a sister, Dora Mielke, Wisconsin Rapids; a daughter-in-law, Lillian Ferg, Watertown; other relatives and friends. Besides her parents; a son, Clarence; a son-in-law, Harvey; a brother and a sister preceded her in death. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2000, at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa. The Reverend H. William Jordan will officiate. Hagstrom 1800 Welhouse Drive Kaukauna Age 77, unexpectedly passed on to eternal life on Sunday, March 12, 2000, while vacationing in Florida. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Friday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with Fr. David Schmidt officiating. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Post 207 W. Calumet St. Age 42, died suddenly Monday evening, March 13, 2000. Allen was born on March 11, 1958, in Appleton, Wisconsin, to Franklin A. and Carol J. (Stoffel) Post. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who always took time to share his skills with others. Allen loved to compete in all aspects of life and he excelled at every challenge he faced. Most of all, Allen enjoyed spending special quality time with his son, Sam. Survivors include his lifelong partner, Jean Grapengieser and their son, Samuel; his parents, Franklin and Carol Post; four brothers, Jeff Post, Jon (Julie) Post, Jim (Susan) Post and Eric Post; three sisters, Sharon Hein, Ann Hetherington and Laurie Bender; 12 nieces and nephews, Peter, Calvin, Amy, Nicole, Stacey, Ashley, Ryan, Tyler, Megan, Katie, Kristen and Lindsey; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Donald Acord; and step-grandfather, Donald Acord. Superior Street Appleton 739-1231 Miss Milsom Schultz Neenah Age 86, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at Parkview Health Care Center. She was born on June 12, 1913, in Neenah, the daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Schwerin) Schultz. Milsom worked for Woolworths in Neenah from 1931 to 1944, and then she was employed by the Marathon Corporation/American Can for 32 years until her retirement in 1976. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. Milsom's greatest enjoyment in life was her extensive worldwide travels. Survivors include a sister, Marian Mae Corby, Green Bay; a brother and sister-in-law, Edward (Harriet) Schultz, Neenah; a nephew, the Reverend Donald Schultz, his wife the Reverend Joan Deming, and her children Kate and Anna, all of Madison; and a special friend, Linda Epley, Neenah. A memorial service will be on Friday, March 17, 2000, 11 a.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with the Reverends Stephen Foster and Donald Schultz officiating. Treichel "T-Bone" Appleton Age 72, died on Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Appleton Medical Center. He was born July 20, 1927, the son of Benjamin and Leona (Lambie) Treichel. On December 9, 1950, he married Shirley Geiger. Carl was a member of Moose Lodge 367 and also a member of the Appleton American Legion, Post 38. Carl was in the 127th Infantry and gave 39 years of service to our country. Lutheran Church, Neenah. He was employed at Menasha Corporation for 37 years. Wilbert's favorite pastimes were raising housedogs and traveling.
