(Mary Jane) Doerfler Appleton Age 88, died on Wednesday, March 22, 2000 at the Outagamie County Health Center. She was born on April 15, 1911 in Gresham, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Elizabeth (Messick) Kilpatrick. Jane is survived by three sons: John (Bonnie) Doerfler, Appleton; David Doerfler, Kenosha; Bruce (Julie) Doerfler, Appleton; a sister, Harriet Wydeven, Appleton; six grandchildren: Jeff (Linda) Doerfler, Jody (Peter) Running, Dan (Jennifer) Doerfler, Amy (Jay) Cutter, Jessica (Jacob) Elson and Abby Doerfler; four great-grandchildren: Andrew and Brittany Running, Travis Doerfler and Rachel Doerfler. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Doerfler in 1992 and a grandson, Joshua Doerfler. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2000 at FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 326 E. North, Appleton with Rev. Willis Bloedow officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Draeger Rhinelander, WI Age 90, passed away peacefully at St. Mary Hospital in Rhinelander on Wednesday, March 22, 2000. He was born July 21, 1909 in Marquette, Wisconsin, the son of Ralph and Bertha Draeger. He was united in marriage to his loving wife, Clara E. Fine on March 4, 1935. She preceded him in death on December 27, 1965. Also preceding him in death were his son, Victor Bruce Draeger, five brothers and a sister. Victor worked in farming for many years and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. He is survived by three daughters: Norma (James) Bolduan, Combined Locks; Dorothy Kelling, Appleton; Margaret (Rodney) Henschel, Appleton; two sons: David Draeger, Neenah; Daniel (Elaine) Draeger, Oshkosh; a sister, Dorothy Erhenberg, Plover; 20 grandchildren, 22 great- grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. His funeral will be at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Oshkosh on Monday, March 27, 2000 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Walter Moll officiating. Burial will be in the Marquette Cemetery. Telulah Street, Appleton Age 47, a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend, was called home by her Heavenly Father, Thursday morning, March 23, 2000 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 17, 1952 to the late Lawrence and Joyce (Pagel) Durnil in New London and grew up in Neenah, where she attended Neenah High School. Carleen lived and worked most of her life in Appleton, where she was employed by Stella's Pasty Shop and Neat-N-Clean. She is survived by three children: Dennis M. and his wife, Sarah Frick and their daughter, Summer, who was born on Carleen's birthday; Aaron Wolfgram, Alicia Wolfgram; four sisters and two brothers-in-law: Candace and Dwight Kerr, Neenah; Christine "Tina" and Dan Cook, Colorado; Mary Loos, Neenah; Susan Ogden, Neenah; four brothers and a sister-in-law: Lawrence "Steve" and Lynn Durnil, Winneconne; Kevin Shepardson, Green Bay; David and Jim Durnil, her step-father, Lester Shepardson; her step-mother, Eleanor (Joe) Dollak; a special godson, Max Ogden; special friends: Eric Samse, Tina Withrow and Paul Sauer; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends, whom she loved very much. WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME 537 N. Superior Street Appleton 739-1231 Lorraine E. Haffeman Oshkosh Age 74, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 21, 2000 after a year long illness. Lorraine was born in Neshkoro, Wisconsin on November 29, 1925 the daughter of Marcus and Lucille Resheske Hammerseng. Lorraine married Franklin C. Haffeman on September 28, 1946. In addition to being a full time wife and mother Lorraine was a secretary at Carver Ice Cream Co., Johnson Hill's Department Store and later Ameritech Co. She was a member of St. Josephat Catholic Church. Lorraine's favorite pastime was attending baseball games. No matter if it was her children or grandchildren playing or the Milwaukee Brewers, she was there. Lorraine had a passion for cards, bingo and social functions. She never missed them. Lorraine is survived by her husband, Franklin C. Haffeman; six children: Sandie Roebke, Sue White, Gary (Tina) Haffeman, Mark (Linda Wildish) Haffeman, Peggy (Dick) Forseth and Nancy (Steve Bertz) Haffeman-Bertz. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Paul Roebke, Kim Hamer, Hadley Haffeman, Ainsley Herson, Brandon Bertz, Franklin and David Forseth; a great- grandchild, Peter Edge. Lorraine is further survived by three sisters: Phyllis Jean Koch, Leatrice (David) Kloiber, Carla (David) Peterson; two brothers: Dennis (Marilyn) Hammerseng and Lee (Lois) Hammerseng. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 25, 2000 at 1 p.m. in St. Josephat Catholic Church, 1333 Walnut Street, Oshkosh with the Rev. Stanley Kolbusz officiating. Kranzusch W5491 Brugger Rd., Black Creek Age 55, died Thursday morning, March 23, 2000 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born March 23, 1945 in Appleton, son of the late Frederick and Helen (Kagerbauer) Kranzusch. On May 30, 1964, he was united in marriage to Sherry Fischer in Appleton. Bruced retired from Valley Roller, Appleton in February of this year. Prior to this he had been employed at Nash Finch as a trucker. He was past owner of Sherry's Kafe, Black Creek. He was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Black Creek. He served as an EMT and was a devoted member of the Black Creek Ambulance for many years and also served as a volunteer fireman in Black Creek. He is survived by his wife, Sherry; three children: Tom (Nona) Kranzusch, Black Creek; Troy Kranzusch, Town of Maine; Tera (Marty) Trepanier, Black Creek; four grandchildren: Kyle, Kayla, Holly, Cameron; two brothers: Elmer (Joan) Kranzusch, Shawano; Frank (Donna) Kranzusch, Town of Larson; a sister-in-law, Ardeen Kranzusch, Appleton; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Robert (Marion) Fischer, Appleton. Vanden Oever "Dick" 142 N. John Street, Kimberly Age 68, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2000 at his residence due to complications of Emphysema. He was born December 14, 1931 in Kimberly, son of the late William and Nellie (Lamenski) Vanden Oever. In 1952 Dick was drafted into the U.S. Army and served a year in Korea. On April 12, 1955 Dick married Dolores Menting at St. Paul Catholic Church in Combined Locks. He worked for Midtec Papers, retiring in 1989 after 43 years. Survivors include his wife Dolores, Kimberly; two sons: Ricky (Nancy) Vanden Oever, Kaukauna; John (Amy ) Vanden Oever, Kimberly; two daughters: Jean (Randy) Hermes, Kimberly and Barbara Smith, Oneida; five grandchildren: Robert Schmelzer, Appleton; John Vanden Oever, Jr., Eric Vanden Oever, Dakota Hermes, all of Kimberly and Chris Brown, Little Chute; step brothers- in-law: John (Kay) Van Cuyk, Rochester, Minnesota; Chris De Leeuw, Kimberly; one brother-in- law, Ken (Carol Gutowski, Appleton; two sisters-in-law: Agnes Vanden Oever, Kimberly; and Shirley Van Berkel, Combined Locks. Other than his parents, Dick was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Vanden Oever; step-brother, John (Margaret) Fiers, Sr.; step sisters: Josephine Van Cuyk, Ann Marie De Leeuw and a brother-in-law, Dennis Menting.
