Obituaries from The Post Crescent, Appleton Wisconsin Monday 17 April 2000 Mrs. Roy Belling Agnes Zefra Kaukauna Age 85, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2000 at St. Paul Home. She was born October 14, 1914 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Jacob and Eva (Meyer) Zefra. On October 14, 1933, Agnes married Roy Belling at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna. He preceded her in death on December 8, 1961. Agnes was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Church. She enjoyed knitting, baking and playing cards. But she received the greatest joy by spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include two sons: Thomas and Sharon Belling, Kaukauna; David and Pat Belling, Stockbridge; a daughter, Kathy and Dave Hahn, Kaukauna; eight grandchildren: Lisa, Joan, Kim and Tom Jr., Randy, Debbie, Rick and Lori. Agnes is further survived by 17 great-grandchildren, in-laws: Robert and Elaine Kerscher, Ruby Wydeven and Les Pelky. Other than her parents and her husband, Roy, Agnes was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Belling. The funeral liturgy will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2000 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna with Father Dave Hoffman officiating. Dorothy "Dolly" May Harrod 347 Eighth Street, Menasha Age 89, died Saturday, April 15, 2000 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones after a long and courageous battle with illness. She was born February 5, 1911 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to the late John William and Ella (Carter) Wolfe. Her father was active in the Masonic Lodge in Connecticut. She was preceded in death by her brother, Earl Ray Wolfe, who died at age 16 and two husbands: Gerald Julian Lessard and Albert Harrod. Loving mother of Timothy Michael Harrod who died on April 28, 1973 at the age of 16, she is survived by daughter, Pamela and son-in-law, Bert Marrache. Dolly was a published poet and writer and enjoyed reading, music and her beloved pet cats: Oliver and Sophie. Most of her life was devoted to the care of children. She was known for her incredible sense of adventure and free spirit as well as her delightful sense of humor. She will be remembered for her love of life, taking delight in the smallest of pleasures and her indomitable spirit remains an inspiration to us all. He smile which sparkled in her blue eyes will always be remembered. Dolly was one of those remarkable individuals whose mere presence enhanced the lives of all who knew her. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Steven Hagen who provided extraordinarily compassionate and dedicated care; caregivers: Dana DeRuyter and Cathy Russell for their loving care during her last hours. Vincent "Vince" Skenadore Ashwaubenon Age 68, died Saturday, April 15, 2000 at a local hospital. Vince was born January 23, 1932 in Oneida, to the late Arthur Skenadore and Cynthia (Jourdan) Schuyler. He married the former Carol Kimps on June 23, 1956 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Howard. Vince graduated from West De Pere High School and attended Lawrence Haskell College in Kansas. Vince served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, and was a member of the Robert Cornelius VFW Post #7784. Vince was a superintendent at Moore Response Marketing for 37 years and retired in 1995. Vince was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and was an avid Packer Fan. He was also a member of the Retired Traffic Club, enjoyed bowling, golfing and fishing. Vince's happiest moments were when he was surrounded by his family. Survivors include his wife, Carol; children: Craig and Carol Skenadore, Green Bay; Denise and Ron Engebos, De Pere; Lisa and Lawrence Wiercinski, De Pere; Justine "Tiger" Skenadore, Green Bay; nine grandchildren: Randall and Michael Skenadore, Regina, Anthony, Tammi and Renee Engebos, Laura and Travis Wiercinski, Quinnton Skenadore and a special family friend, Robert Madrid; a sister, Marlene and Myron Skenandore, Green Bay; two brothers: Gordy and Judith Skenadore, Oneida; Richard Skenadore and special friend, Cheryl Ault, Green Bay; many nieces and nephews.
