He had been ill only three days. His daughter, Mrs. B. A. Sinnen, left for Kansas City Wednesday morning but did not reach her destination in time to see her father alive. The decedent was born in Scotland and upon coming to the United States made his home until after his marriage at Holyoke, Mass., where he engaged in papermaking. During his long residence in Appleton he was connected with the paper mills of the Kimberly-Clark company and the Combined Locks Paper company. Five years ago he removed to Neenah, where he resided two eyars, and from there went to Kansas City. Besides his widow he leaves three daughters and a son, Mrs. B. A. Sinnen, Appleton; Helen, Charlotte and Walter at home. He is also survived by a brother, Thomas Balantyne. The funeral was held at Kansas City today.
