He has been in poor health since the removal of an arm, caused b a fall. The deceased is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Brown, Hortonville; and two brothers, Cleon of Hortonville, and Perry of Appleton. The funeral was held this afternoon at Hortonville. 14 Jan 1920 BROWN FUNERAL The funeral of Elmer Brown, who died Sunday at Oshkosh, was held at one o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the late home at Hortonville. Burial was at the Union cemetery. Several Green Bay and Oshkosh relatives attended the funeral. 15 Jan 1920 BROWN FUNERAL Among the persons in attendance at the funeral of Delmar Brown at Hortonville Tuesday were President H. A. Brown, Prof. F. M. Karnes, and seven students of Oshkosh Normal school, which the decedent had attended. The young man made a splendid record in the school, despite the loss of an arm in an accident a few years ago. He was principal of a school at Sheldon when he was taken ill. He lost the use of his limbs while visiting in Oshkosh and was taken to St.Mary hospital where he died Saturday night. He was a brother of Perry Brown of this city. COMMENTS: 2nd notice mentioned "attended the wedding" instead of funeral. Last notice said Delmar, should be Elmer.
