FRANCIS LA BRUN

Francis La Brun, a resident of Appleton since 1854 died, at midnight at the
home of his daughter, Mrs. Nellie Loret, 547 Franklin street, after a long
illness. Death was hatened by a fall last Friday in which the aged man broke a
leg. He would have been 80 years old had he lived until February 2.

The decedent was born in France but came to this country as a very young man.
He was one of the pioneer residents of this city.

Mr. La Brun is survived by six children and 15 grand children. The children
are Mrs. Nellie Loret, Appleton; Mrs. Jessie Wegner, Chicago; Frank and Harvey 
La Brun, Alton, Ill.; Mrs. Mary Clark, St. Louis; Henry La Brun, Menominee,
Mich.

Funeral arrangements are held in abeyance pending the arrival of relatives
from a distance.

LA BRUN FUNERAL
Funeral services for the late Francis La Brun will be held at nine o'clock
Saturday morning at St. Mary church. Interment will be at St. Mary cemetery.
