OBITUARY  (The Kaukauna Times, March 28, 1913)   

Mrs. Katherine (Catherine) Landgraf died quite suddenly while sitting in her 
chair Thursday afternoon at 5:55 o'clock from anemia, after a gradual decline 
in health for the past year.
 
She was born at Oshkosh August 6th, 1868, and came with her parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. Joseph L. Mayer, to Kaukauna in 1885.  She was married here to John 
Landgraf of Menasha who died twelve years ago and was buried there where they 
resided at that time.

Mrs. Landgraf came with her children to this city a little later where she has 
since resided.  Surviving are her children, Ray of Duluth, Minn., Rena and 
Eulalia at home, also her mother Mrs. Joseph L. Mayer, and her brothers Dr. 
Edward A. Mayer, John G. and Alfred T. Mayer of this city and Constantine F. 
Mayer of Hudson, Wisconsin.

The funeral will be held at St. Mary's church Monday morning at nine o'clock, 
Father F.X. Steinbrecher officiating.
