Rose was age 10, Isabella about 14 and Margaret about 17 years. The husband and father, James Anglim, was said to have died later of a broken heart, leaving the rest of Catherine and James' children as orphans. Catherine probably died 22 Oct, not 22 Sept, because of a written record by a visiting priest found at St Joseph Cath Parish in Appleton. No written records seem to exist for the girls or for James. File attached: Anglim Trainor monument St Edward Cem Mackville 33 percent ehn+3.jpg size: 288 KB Transcription of the stone: Transcription of Anglim text from St Edward’s Cemetery, Mackville WI In Memory of CATHARINE TRAINOR . Wife of JAMES ANGLIM, Died Sept. 22, 1872 Ć. 39 y’s 8 mo’s. Native of Parish Dromore Co.Tyrone, Ire. ROSE ELLEN . Died Sept. 18, 1872; ISABELLA C. Died Oct. 20, 1872; MARGARET A. Died Nov. 25, 1872; ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Children of J & C . ANGLIM . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ May their souls rest in peace Amen. Notes: Broken off and buried below Isabella’s name, but St Edwards parish notes made in Jan 1933 by Fr. N. L. Gross by recording information from the cemetery gravestones gave Isabella’s death date as Oct 20 1872. Excavation by Anthony Knuppel of Appleton Marble in November 2005 confirmed that date and also revealed what was carved below Isabella C’s name - much of which was in pristine condition. Further notes: The period after “Ire” was probably on the original stone, but was mostly worn away. There was either a colon or semi-colon after the first date of 1872, but this is being omitted on the new stone carving. Also, the original carving had “there” mistakenly carved for “their” at the bottom, but this is being corrected on the new carving. Dromore was also spelled “Dramore.” All names are being spelled as on the original, for example “Catharine” vs. Catherine. Additional Comments: This photo should replace the current posting by the Larry & Linda Kopet, because the tombstone has now been excavated, mounted to granite and reset. My photos were taken at the Appleton Marble & Granite Works after excavation. The original caption is incorrect (surname is incorrectly given as Anclim - should be Anglim - a rare Irish name.)
