KARL A. PETERSON, merchant, Stockholm, son of Lars and Maria Peterson, was born in Herrnas Bjurkarn, Sweden, Dec. 14, 1852. He came to the United States in 1872, and settled in Stockholm, where he found employment for awhile, as clerk, and, in 1875, engaged in the mercantile business on his own account. He was married, June 23, 1876, to Miss Matilda Peterson, daughter of Eric Peterson, of Stockholm. They have one child, Cordelia Disederia Aurora.
