MrsGrinnin@aol.com ************************************************************************ OLD ROCK ELM CEMETERY The following information was taken from the monuments in the cemetery located about one mile east of highway 183, on highway 72 (south side). This cemetery is in Rock Elm Township, Pierce County, and is known as the Old Rock Elm Cemetery, the Waverly Cemetery, Rock Elm Township Cemetery and the Condit Cemetery. This information was gathered in 1975. All the monuments were recorded, however the site was deteriorated and some stones may be missing (vandalism) and some graves were never marked by monuments, so it is not a complete listing. M.A. Goodnough was supposedly the first man murdered in the Rock Elm area.
