St. Joseph's church was built on property purchased in 1874 from the Welsh and Henneman families. In 1981 the church was dissolved and the church sold to be torn down. The cemetery was on the south side of the church building. This cemetery was documented October 23, 1982 by Robert & Reta Sanford. Information provided by local people is preceded by an *. Another cross is located between the Meyer & Hanson lots in the eastern section. There was no information on any of these crosses. There is a cross made from pipe in the western section. We were told by William Traynor, former caretaker of the cemetery, that there is a site in the southeastern corner that has been used for the burial of unbaptised babies.
