Obituary: Portage County, Wisconsin: Mary BOYER Gazette, Wed, April 14, 1909 Mrs. John Boyer Dies at Northern Hospital Where She Had Been but a Few Days- Brought Home for Burial Mrs. John Boyer, a respected lady resident of the North Side, who sad affliction wasmentioned in these columns last week, she having been taken to the asylum at Oshkosh, died at that institution last Wednesday night. From the first the unfortunate lady failed very rapidly, she refusing to partake of nourishment of any kind, and under these circum-stances the end was inevitable. The deceased lady was born in Prussia-Poland and was 38 years of age. Her maiden name was Mary Kerjeski. When quite young her father died in his native land, and later, after the widow had married again, the family came to America, and for fully a quarter of a century Stevens Point had been the family home. About 20 years ago the now deceased lady was married to John Boyer, and besides her husband, who is now very ill, leaves 7 children, the oldest 15 years of age. Helen, Dominick, John, Winnifred, Gladys, Henry and an infantdaughter five months old. Her aged mother lives her, and one brother, M. Kerjeski, and a sister, Mrs. Kryetski, in Chicago. To all of these the sympathy of the public goes out. The remains were brought her Thursday night, accompanied by Adam Boyer, brother-in-law ofthe decease, the funeral taking place from St. Peter's church, Rev. L.J. Pescinskiofficiating, at 11 o'clock Saturday morning, with interment in the parish cemetery.
