Obituary: Portage County, Wisconsin: Theodore BRONSON Stevens Point Daily Journal Feb. 13, 1899 The Funeral Tomorrow Remains of Theodore Bronson Arrived this Morning The remains of Theodore A. Bronson arrived from Ponce, P.R., at 9 o'clock this morning. They were met at the depot by the undertaker and were taken at one to Boston's morgue, where they will remain until the hour for the funeral tomorrow morning. The body will then be placed in the hearse under military escort and will join the funeral procession in front of the Bronson residence on Crooked way. The service will be held in the main auditorium of the Episcopal church at 10:15 a.m., Rev. R.H. Weller officiating. The comrades of the deceased who served with him in Company A of the Second Wisconsin will act as an escort for the remains. The members of the Grand Army and Krieger Verin will attend the funeral in bodies representing their respective orders. The police and fire departmentw will also be represented. The high school will be dismissed at 10 o'clock in order that all may attend. The other schools would also be dismissed except for the severity of the weather which would prevent the younger children from attending. The Normal faculty has also extended to all students, who wish to attend, the privilege of being excused to attend the services. The interment will take place in the Episcopal cemetery. H.D.
