Obituary: Portage County, Wisconsin: Anna DEMKIE Gazette, Wed., Feb. 24, 1909 Young Mother Dead Mrs. Theo. Demkie, of the town of Eau Pleine, was called by death last Saturday afternoon at 4:30 after a protracted illness, covering a period of four years, with tuberculosis. The deceased lady was born in Germany and was 25 years, 6 months and 22 days old. Her maiden name was Anna Schultz, and she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Schultz, of Dancy. Besides her husband and father, she is survived by three children, two girls and a boy, the oldest 7 years andthe youngest 3 years of age. She also leaves two brothers, one of whom lives at Wausau and the other in Montana and three sisters, one of whom resides at Wausau, another at Rudolph and the other at Mayville. Her mother died, two years ago last fall. The funeral took place from the residence at 2 o'clockTuesday afternoon, services being held at the LutheranChurch in Eau Pleine, with internment in the adjoining cemetery.
