Aimee (SORENSEN) EDMONSON, age 85, of Oxford, died Wed April 25, 2001 at
her home.

Funeral services were held April 28 at the Oxford Bible church, Rev Donald
WEDEL officiating and burial in the Oxford Village Cemetery. 

Aimee was born March 15, 1916 in Oxford, the daughter of Edward and Amy
(NEWVILLE) MANTEUFEL.  In April of 1937 she was married to Eli SORENSEN. 
He died in May, 1987. In September of 1993 she was married to Virgil EDMONSON. 
Aimee was one of the  last charter members of the Oxford Bible Church.

Survivors are: her husband, Virgil; daughters, Karen SORENSEN and Margaret
(James) SORENSEN-LAUE, both of Oxford; a sister, Erna RICE of Montello; two
grandchildren, Carrie and Corey GLIENKE; and step-children, Mabel of
FL, Alice (Donald) of Louisiana and Robert (Janet) of MA.

She was preceded in death in addition to her first husband, Eli, by her
parents; a son, Truman; four brothers and three sisters.

The Oxford Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
