Obituary: Portage County, Wisconsin: Dollie PODACH Stevens Point Daily Journal, May 6, 1899 Death of Miss Dollie Podack Miss Dollie Podach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Podach of 322 Jefferson street, died this evening at 5 o'clock after a three days' illness with brain fever. She was seventeen years of age. Stevens Point Daily Journal, May 8, 1899 Dies Very Suddenly Miss Wanda Marguerite Podach succumbs to Brain Fever. Miss Wanda Marguerite Podach, or as she was more popularly know Miss "Dollie" Podach, died at 5 o'clock at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Podach, of 322 Jefferson street. She was taken ill Thursday afternoon and complained of pains "all over her". A doctor was summoned and under his treatment she so far recovered that she wanted to get up Friday morning. In the afternoon, however, her condition became very serious and about 4 o'clock she became unconscious and remained in that condition until death. The deceased was born in the town of Hull on April 18, 1882, but came to this city when a very young girl and has lived here ever since. She attended the public school and was a member of the second year class in the high shool when she was forced to give up her work last June on account of the continued headaches with which she suffered. She was the third child in a family of five children. The others are Misses Mamie, Tessie, Evely, and Master Frank. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Stephen's church, Rev. W.J. Rice officiating. The pall bearers will be Reinhold Oberlatz, Paul Neuman, Chas. H.
